Students under 18 may use our services only with the knowledge, supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The parent or guardian is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information
  • Choosing an appropriate programme and learning level
  • Supervising the student’s use of the website and online platforms
  • Ensuring that the student follows class rules
  • Paying all applicable programme fees
  • Informing us about any educational, accessibility or safety requirements relevant to the student

Students must not independently purchase paid services unless permitted by applicable law and authorised by their parent or legal guardian.

3. Educational Services

Learn STEM Academy may provide:

  • One-to-one live online classes
  • Small-group live online classes
  • Trial or assessment classes
  • Recorded learning resources
  • Assignments and digital exercises
  • Quizzes and assessments
  • Progress reports

  • Workshops and short-term programmes
  • Learning-management-system access

The exact course structure, class duration, number of sessions, programme period, tutor allocation and included learning resources will be stated on the relevant programme page, enrolment confirmation, invoice, payment page or written communication.

We may update course content, teaching methods, schedules, digital tools and learning materials where reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the programme.

4. Trial Classes and Assessments

A trial class may be used to:

  • Understand the student’s current learning level
  • Introduce the teaching method
  • Identify suitable programmes
  • Recommend a learning plan
  • Evaluate technical readiness for online classes

A trial class does not guarantee admission to a programme, allocation of a particular tutor, a specific class schedule or a particular academic result.

Where a trial class is advertised as free, no course fee will be charged for that trial unless clearly stated before booking.

5. Registration Information

You agree to provide complete and accurate information, including:

  • Parent or guardian name
  • Student name
  • Student age or grade
  • Country and curriculum
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number
  • Programme interest
  • Billing and payment information

You must notify us when any information changes.

Learn STEM Academy may refuse, pause or cancel registration where the information provided is false, incomplete, misleading or cannot be reasonably verified.

6. Accounts and Login Credentials

Where access to a parent, student or tutor dashboard is provided:

  • Login credentials must be kept confidential.
  • Accounts must not be shared with unauthorised persons.
  • You are responsible for activities carried out through your account.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Students must use the platform only for educational purposes.

We may reset credentials, restrict access or suspend an account where necessary for security, safeguarding, non-payment or misuse.

7. Fees and Payments

Programme fees will be displayed or communicated before payment.

Fees may be charged as:

  • One-time programme fees
  • Monthly payments
  • Term-based payments
  • Class packages
  • Subscription payments
  • Workshop or event fees

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways, card networks, banks or international payment providers.

You agree to provide valid payment information and confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Any currency-conversion fee, international transaction fee, bank fee or card-issuer charge imposed independently by your bank or payment provider is your responsibility.

Learn STEM Academy does not normally store complete card or banking credentials.

8. Taxes and Invoices

Fees may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on the service, customer location and legal requirements.

Where applicable, the invoice or payment receipt will show:

  • Business name
  • Payment amount
  • Programme or service
  • Transaction date
  • Applicable taxes
  • Payment reference

Parents and customers are responsible for providing correct billing information.

9. Recurring Payments

Where you select a recurring or subscription-based payment plan, you authorise the payment provider to charge the agreed amount according to the selected billing cycle.

The billing amount, frequency and programme period will be communicated before subscription activation.

You may request cancellation of future recurring payments by contacting us before the next billing date. Cancellation of a recurring mandate does not automatically create a refund entitlement for classes or services already delivered.

10. Class Scheduling

Classes will be scheduled based on:

  • Student availability
  • Tutor availability
  • Programme structure
  • Country and time zone
  • Agreed class frequency

All times will be communicated in the relevant time zone.

Parents are responsible for checking the class time and joining promptly. Learn STEM Academy is not responsible for a missed class caused by misunderstanding the time zone after the schedule has been clearly communicated.

11. Student Absence and Rescheduling

Where a student cannot attend a scheduled class, the parent or guardian should notify us at least [12/24] hours before the class.

Subject to the selected programme:

  • A class may be rescheduled when sufficient notice is provided.
  • Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability.
  • Repeated rescheduling may not be permitted.
  • A class missed without notice may be treated as completed.
  • Late arrival will not normally extend the scheduled class end time.

Emergency situations may be reviewed individually.

Any programme-specific rescheduling rules communicated during enrolment will also apply.

12. Tutor Absence or Academy Cancellation

Where Learn STEM Academy or the assigned tutor must cancel a class, we will normally:

  • Arrange a replacement class;
  • Reschedule the session; or
  • Provide another reasonable learning arrangement.

Where a programme cannot be delivered and no suitable alternative is available, any applicable refund will be handled according to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

13. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds, cancellations, programme withdrawals and payment adjustments are governed by our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Any approved refund will normally be returned through the original payment method where technically possible.

After Learn STEM Academy initiates a refund, the bank, card network or payment gateway may require additional processing time before the amount appears in the customer’s account. Cashfree states that refund credit times can vary by payment method and banking system.

Nothing in these Terms restricts any refund or consumer remedy that must be provided under applicable law.

14. Student Conduct

Students must behave respectfully during classes and must not:

  • Use abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate language
  • Harass tutors or other students
  • Share offensive or unlawful material
  • Disrupt classes repeatedly
  • Attempt to access another user’s account
  • Record or distribute classes without permission
  • Copy or distribute protected course materials
  • Use the platform for commercial promotion or unrelated activity
  • Share private contact information of tutors or students without permission

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in removal from a class or suspension of services.

15. Parent and Tutor Communication

Parents should use official Learn STEM Academy communication channels for:

  • Class scheduling
  • Tutor feedback
  • Payment questions
  • Complaints
  • Technical support
  • Programme changes

16. Class Recordings

Certain classes, workshops or support sessions may be recorded for:

  • Student revision
  • Teaching-quality review
  • Tutor training
  • Safety and safeguarding
  • Complaint investigation
  • Service improvement

Where recording takes place, reasonable notice will be provided.

Recordings containing identifiable students will not be publicly published for marketing without appropriate parent or guardian permission.

Students and parents must not independently record, reproduce, publish or distribute classes without written permission from Learn STEM Academy and, where relevant, the participants.

17. Technical Requirements

The parent or student is responsible for arranging:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A functioning computer or suitable device
  • Camera and microphone access where required
  • A supported browser or application
  • A quiet and suitable learning environment
  • Required software or learning tools

We will provide reasonable technical guidance, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service where problems arise from the user’s device, internet provider, electricity supply, browser, software or third-party platform.

18. Third-Party Platforms

Our services may use third-party platforms such as:

  • Video-conferencing tools
  • Learning-management systems
  • Payment gateways
  • Email and communication services
  • Cloud-storage services
  • Coding and educational platforms

Your use of a third-party platform may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Learn STEM Academy is not responsible for an independent third-party platform’s temporary outage, security incident, policy change or service discontinuation, but we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative where appropriate.

Student work will not be used publicly for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

21. Academic Results

Learn STEM Academy aims to provide high-quality teaching and learning support. However, academic progress depends on several factors, including:

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

25. Service Availability

We aim to keep our website and learning services available, but temporary interruptions may occur because of:
